REVIEW: GEO Grang Grang Choco / HC-246

The GEO Grang Grang series have been out for a couple of years now and they come in two colours and sizes: Choco and Brown; 14.2mm and 15mm.

Lifespan: 1 year
Base curve: 8.6mm
Diameter: 14.2mm
Water content: 38%

Enlargement: 4/5
I found these to be quite enlarging even though they're 14.2mm—it might be because of the the bold black limbal ring—definitely gives you a dolly look.

Colour & Design: 4/5
These 3 tones lens are quite fun and different to other circle lenses. There is a black limbal ring gradating to random chocolate brown spikes towards the centre with a honey brown spiking layer filling in between. They blend in quite well with dark eyes and I think the design is intended to make your eyes sparkle.

Comfort: 3.5/5
Other reviews rave on about how comfortable these are, and yes while they are comfortable, I didn't like them as much as Neo Vision's Dali Browns. I felt like the Geo's are a bit thicker and I could only wear them for about 5–6 hours before my eyes get really tired and I have to take them out.

Overall: 4/5
These lenses are quite affordable, I've seen them as cheap as $10USD. They're great if you want a dolly look; perfect for selfies. I wouldn't wear them if I had an all day outing though, but if you do, just bring solution in case.

*The discrepancy between the makeup is because the selfie was taken before I left for Europe (and gosh does the lighting make me look ghostly) and close up shots were when I got back
