REVIEW: Neo Shiny Dali Brown (7Days)

When I first found out that circle lenses came in weekly/daily disposables, I thought I must definitely get my hands on a pack! I'm leaving for Europe in about 2 months, and I rather not carry around yearly lenses, just for hygiene reasons. Neo Vision is known for having thin and comfortable lenses so I thought these would be perfect to try out. There are 3 colours/designs in this range, the other two are Natural Dali Brown and Natural Dali Black.

The Neo Vision Shiny Dali Brown come in a pack of 12, making 6 pairs, lasting 6 weeks.

Neo Vision Shiny Dali Brown
Life span: 7 days (weekly)
Base curve: 8.6
Diameter: 14.0mm
Graphics Diameter: 13.5mm
Water content: 42%

Enlargement: 2/5
These lenses definitely did not give me an alien or dolly look, which honestly I don't mind–I prefer it that way because that means I can wear it everyday and with or without much makeup.

Colour & Design: 4.5/5
Two tone lenses–dark brown rim with short spikes towards the centre with light brownish-orange flecks. They definitely blend in well with brown eyes, but depending on the lightning, there appears to be a lighter muted brown ring around my iris.

Comfort: 5/5
These lenses are amazing! Once they're in, I can't feel them!  They are quite thin. I can wear them comfortably for 8–12 hours (long uni days) and I rewet my eyes about every 2–3 hours. They're as comfortable as the Puffy 3 Tones series.

Overall: 4.5/5
These weekly Shiny Dali Brown are by far one of my favourites! They're not too enlarging and look natural enough for everyday wear. They're supper comfortable and they seem more hygienic than yearly lenses, they also come in easy to open blister packages. The only downside to these lenses are that they're about $20 for 6 weeks wear instead of a year (but I normally wear mine for 3–6months anyways...) I think I will definitely repurchase these though, they're just so comfy. Can't wait to wear them in Europe!

  1. Hi Tran, are these posts from klenspop sponsored? I'm interested in buying and from what I see they look very natural.

I also wanted to know if you prefer Shiny dali brown vs. natural dali brown.

  2. Hi Jacqueline,
No this review is not sponsored—sponsored reviews are clearly marked with an asterisk, include thanks to the company/banners etc.

Regarding the lenses—they're both amazingly comfortable and natural looking—I prefer the (spikes) blend of Natural Dali Brown to the Shiny.

    Hope that helps.

  5. Hi Grace,
That's great! I hope you like them as much as I did.
I didn't soak these before I wore them as they're disposables, just gave them a rinse with multipurpose solution (I didn't get receive any burning sensation when I first wore them etc). If you have sensitive eyes, best give them a 4-6 hour soak.
