REVIEW: EYE-N Chic Black *

Bonjour! Apologises for the lull in posts, I've been so busy lately I haven't had the time to sit down and write.

Klenspop contacted me after my review on their website/service and offered to sponsor a pair for review. I delightfully accepted, chose from a list of lenses they wanted to promote and here we are! I'm excited to write this as it's my very first sponsored review, but don't worry, my opinions will still be honest.

Eye-N are 2 week disposable lenses that come in Chic Black or Sweety Brown. Each pack comes with 8 lenses—4 pairs—which should last about 2 months. I haven't worn black lenses since 2011, I've purchased them in the past couple of years but haven't gotten around to them, so I was excited to try these on!

Lens Story EYE-N Chic Black
Life Span: 2 Weeks (fortnightly)
Base Curve: 8.6
Diameter: 14.2mm
Water content: 38%

Enlargement: 3/5
Charming, doe-eyed enlargement. Acceptable for everyday wear—with or without much makeup.

Colour & Design: 4.5/5
These black lenses have a dark limbal ring that gradates into a light dodecagon star shape in the centre. I was a bit worried at first thinking that the star would be quite opaque, but it actually allows the lenses to blend in nicely with dark eyes.

Comfort: 4/5
Nearly as comfortable as the Neo Vision weekly lenses. I wore these comfortably for 8—10 hours, occasional rewetting.

Overall: 4/5
These lenses are perfect for a cute doe-eyed look and blend in nicely for everyday wear without much exaggeration. They come in ready to wear blister packages and are nice and comfy. The only downside is that they're about $27~/$54~ for 8 weeks/16 weeks, depending if you need one or two packs—more expensive than your yearly lenses but cheaper than some dailies.
